SHAWNA dee BURRIS IS A TEACHER, WRITER, AND FORMER DANCER.

SHAWNA HOLDS A BACHELORS OF EDUCATION IN ENGLISH/LANGUAGE ARTS AND HISTORY/SOCIAL STUDIES FROM EASTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY, AND A MASTERS IN CURRICULUM AND DEVELOPMENT FROM UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX. she has been teaching for sixteen years.

Shawna is a published poet and is currently working on her next writing endeavor.

SHE can dance and has been since the age of two, from hawaiian to tap to scottish and irish. She retired from competitive highland dance at the age of 21.
