The Glass Menagerie is written by Tennessee Williams. It is the story of three family members; each an individual seeking escape from society's pressure to be who they are expected to be and similar pressures placed by each other. It is a journey into the unhappy lives and desperate imaginations of these characters.

Humanity Thru Art's Reader's Theatre will meet April 12th from 6 to 8 pm and we will attempt to bring these characters to life. Join us and read the role of your choosing! Also feel free to cold read. It is a great preparation for auditions.

We have a few copies of the script. However, if you'd like to prepare beforehand there are copies available in the local libraries and bookstores. If you'd like to purchase the Kindle version, it costs $6.93 at Amazon.com
