Born and raised in Las Vegas Mike is a graduate of Clark High School. His parents instilled in him a love for the written word from an early age. Growing up he voraciously consumed sci-fi, horror and fantasy authors. He also found an early love in video games, comics and computers.

For four years he played the cello in strings at Matt Kelly and Hyde Park and played in the Sunset Symphony for six. He's still known to strum a ukulele or play the acoustic bass guitar.  He is currently working on the next great American novel.

On any given evening you might find Mike participating in various writing critique groups or checking out open mics around town. He is on an ever-present quest to bring his lexicon and vocabulary into alignment. Follow him @drollme
